Phenylpiracetam offers relatively high levels of neuroprotection when compared to other racetam supplements. It also has psychostimulatory properties that may enhance physical performance.

Phenylpiracetam has also been shown in scientific studies to offer benefits for the symptoms of cognitive decline in cases of dementia, stroke and traumatic brain injury.

Unique to the racetam family, Phenylpiracetam is derived from Piracetam with the addition of a phenyl group to its structure.

  • Improved cognitive function for patients that have experienced brain trauma(1)

  • Immune system support(4)

Dosage per day: 100 – 300 mg
Absorption time: 30 – 60 minutes
Effect duration: Phenylpiracetam has a peak effect duration of 3 – 5 hours, with some individuals reporting residual benefits up to 10 hours later.

Phenylpiracetam boosts the use of acetylcholine in your brain, potentially causing headaches. To counteract this, consider stacking it with choline supplements. Due to its stimulant-like properties, it is generally not advisable for you to take Phenylpiracetam too late in the evening or afternoon, in case it disrupts your sleep.

Tolerance can be an issue with Phenylpiracetam, so you should ideally only use it on days where you need its cognitive or physical boost (up to 3 – 4 times a week). Or, if you prefer, you can also try cycling it: after one week of usage, take the next off before resuming.

This supplement really works well. It’s a little expensive for me so I can't afford to use it all the time. But I can really feel a difference when using it.
