Benefits of Dihydromyricetin (DHM)
Liver protection
DHM is widely believed to show “promise as an alcohol anti-intoxicant”(1) and has been approved for protection against stem cell damage.(2)
Counteracts hangovers
Proven to be effective at preventing nausea, brain-fog, and anxiety, DHM protects your liver by reducing alcohol-induced damage, allowing you to wake up feeling alert and ready for the day following alcohol consumption.
Alcohol detoxification
The key to hangover recovery is to flush these toxins out fast, and DHM increases the activity of key enzymes in the liver that make this happen.(3) The result is a refreshed feeling after a night of sleep, increased alertness and a balanced sense of focus and concentration.
Side effects
DHM has been shown to be safe in laboratory trials however possible side effects of extreme alcohol consumption can occur such as headaches, nausea or upset stomach.
