Make the hang ‘over’ before it starts. Prevent hangovers and protect your liver with the power of DHM.

Used for centuries in Asia as a protective measure against the negative effects of alcohol on the liver, Ampelopsis Grossedentata – better known in the scientific community as Dihydromyricetin (DHM) or Ampelopsin – has traditionally been used as a natural medicine to treat liver disease.

Most people agree that drinking alcohol affects people negatively as they age. That’s because alcohol-induced toxins build up over time, and this puts a large amount of stress on the body. These effects continue to add up and the length of time the body is exposed to these toxins adds to the severity of negative effects produced following alcohol consumption.

Benefits of Dihydromyricetin (DHM)

Liver protection

DHM is widely believed to show “promise as an alcohol anti-intoxicant”(1) and has been approved for protection against stem cell damage.(2)

Counteracts hangovers

Proven to be effective at preventing nausea, brain-fog, and anxiety, DHM protects your liver by reducing alcohol-induced damage, allowing you to wake up feeling alert and ready for the day following alcohol consumption.

Alcohol detoxification

The key to hangover recovery is to flush these toxins out fast, and DHM increases the activity of key enzymes in the liver that make this happen.(3) The result is a refreshed feeling after a night of sleep, increased alertness and a balanced sense of focus and concentration.

Side effects

DHM has been shown to be safe in laboratory trials however possible side effects of extreme alcohol consumption can occur such as headaches, nausea or upset stomach.

I love it! DHM is a mainstay for any night you want to drink above socially acceptable norms.

Clears Acetyldehyde effectively. Lastly I use it for myself on Wine Friday so I can relax with a glass or two of wine and know my body will have help in clearing up the toxic byproducts of the fermented grapes. I am able to get up in the morning without a red wine headache which is really hard to rid otherwise. I highly recommend!
