What is Oxiracetam?
Oxiracetam is a water-soluble ampakine nootropic in the racetam family. In addition to modulating AMPA-receptors, Oxiracetam also boosts the availability of acetylcholine in the brain. It was first synthesized in 1977 and is a synthetic derivative of Piracetam – the granddaddy of all smart drugs. Due to its additional hydroxyl group – which is not found in Piracetam, Oxiracetam is said to be 5 times more potent!
Benefits of Oxiracetam
Enhances cognitive functions
Maybe your finals are coming up in 3 days, and you still have 7 chapters left to cram. Or – perhaps you’re working on an urgent project for a big-ticket client, and you need to be on your toes and alert, always. Oxiracetam can help. Through its modulating effects on binding sites for neurotransmitters (acetylcholine and glutamate) on AMPA and NMDA receptors, Oxiracetam has been found to improve memory, learning, concentration, and focus for extended periods.
Exerts neuroprotective effects
Protect your brain – no helmet needed! Oxiracetam has been found to exert significant neuroprotective properties. This ultimately means that it can help protect both your brain and nervous system from any age-, injury- or life-related cognitive decline or damage! Research suggests that its neuroprotective effects are so powerful that it could potentially halt the brain damage typically associated with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Improves verbal fluency
Trying to impressing others with your speech, but always find yourself tripping over words or pausing to search for the right words at the most inappropriate time? Don’t fret. With Oxiracetam’s help, it’s time for you to sound as smart as you are. Oxiracetam has been found to help with verbal memory – a necessary pre-requisite leading to verbal fluency. Now, words will flow effortlessly, and vocabulary you didn’t know you had access to will come into play.
